The Agency Coordinating Body for Afghan Relief’s (ACBAR) website www.acbar.org is one of the most popular and most visited websites (Site # 6) in Afghanistan with a record number of 10 million visitors since March 2005 (avg. of 6,000 – 7,000 unique visitors per day), and with a record number of 54,000 job vacancy announcements since March 2005.

To provide a friendly medium for Employers and Job Seekers, to provide a link between Employers & Job Seekers, to answer to the needs of Employers & Job Seekers, to take in account the suggestions of Employers & Job Seekers, and to serve both category of users in the best way possible;  ACBAR propose the following facilities:

Employers :
You do not have to send your respective job vacancy announcements through email to ACBAR to be posted on www.acbar.org as it was the case until now. ACBAR is now providing employers the opportunity to post their job vacancies directly themselves on ACBAR website. All you need to do is to:

• Step 1: Visit www.acbar.org and register (sign up) you will find this link on homepage under login panel.
• Step 2: Login using your username and password
• Step 3: On The Jobs page click on the Employer icon
• Step 4: Select your role as Employer
• Step 5: On the employer control panel click on the "New Organization" button to create your esteemed organization background (you have to do it only once)
• Step 6a: Once you are registered as an employer and have your account, you have to send the registration certificate document delivered by the Afghan Government (i.e. NGOs with Ministry of Economy, Private Companies with AISA, Media with Ministry of Information & Culture & Social Organizations with Ministry of Justice) to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. • Step 7b: UN agencies, Int’l organizations, Donors, Embassies & Afghan governmental offices do not fall under step number 8, they just have to register as an employer and send a request via their official email address (their domain name) to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. • Step 7c: ACBAR member organizations do not have to send their registration certificate, their account will be approved automatically.
• Step 8: Post your job adverts through New Jobs section of employer control Panel.

Note:

• Starting from 15th of August For Profit/ Private Sector entities will be charged 15 USD per Job vacancy announcement/RFP/RFQ/EoI regardless of the duration or closing date of their job vacancy announcement.
• For Profit/ Private Sector entities are requested to wire their advertisement fee in advance to:

• For those companies which can not wire their fees, there is still the possibility to directly pay in cash to the finance department of ACBAR central office.
• Due to ACBAR's new policy, it may take one or two days (maximum) for a job vacancy to appear on http://www.acbar.org

ACBAR has the responsibility to make sure each organization using this service is legally registered within the relevant administration. Without registration certificate, no access to ACBAR job service will be granted.

Once approved, you can:

• Have employer control panel
• Save time with flexible and powerful resume search interface
• Search resumes by application title, name, nationality, gender, availablity, category, job type, salary range, education, experience (by default you will not be able to see the contact detail of your desired job seeker, to view his/her contact detail you have to contact ACBAR Web Master)
• Build organization profile
• Add, edit and delete jobs
• Announcing job vacancy announcements in Dari & Pashto Languages
• Send email to employer when job seeker apply to a job
• Professional display of job searches and resumes
• View job applied resumes with # of applied resume
• Notification on organization approval / rejection
• Notification on job approval / rejection

Added Value: Job vacancies post on www.acbar.org are also being posted on www.unjobs.org, a Geneva based website, through several local magazines (Forooshi, Kabul Business Weekly, ASRSO ... etc), City radio & Hamoon radio.
