About Organization of Human Welfare (OHW):
The Organization of Human Welfare (OHW) is a non-governmental organization and is a non-political, not-for-profit, and impartial organization with no bias towards a particular religion, ethnicity, or political belief. It has its own independent legal status and entity. OHW is operating since 2007 in the country with active membership with the national clusters and international donor agencies in Afghanistan including SWABAC, ACBAR, AICS, BAAG, AWN and most of the national and international Clusters operates based in Afghanistan.
ROLE PURPOSE: The central role of this lower management level position is to assist project coordinator in designing and delivering of education relavent trainings and workshops in the province. She/he is responsible to supervise the work of CBE teachers community mobilizers, and work closely with district government authorities, local Shuras (CECs, PTAs, CDCs and etc), and ensure that the program training plan is implemented in high quality, and on best interest of children.
The Education Trainer is accountable to carry out the following key role and responsibilities:
She/he will assist project coordinator in training need assessment, designing, and conducting the trainings.
Work closely with CBE teachers and community mobilizers, and the District Education Department (DED)/ Provincial Education Department and identify the training needs.
Assist the project coordinator in the development of training work plans, procurement of training stationeries and materials (training manuals and handouts).
Deliver high quality training workshops to the teachers, mentors, and or facilitators where the project targeted beneficiaries learning and development requirement addressed effectively and efficiently.
Assist the MEAL officer in the process of project training data collections and data management.
Undertake regular supervision visits and assess the impact of trainings on the learning and development of project beneficiaries.
Identify training gaps/needs, and or areas of improvements - document best practices and lessons learnt.
Preparing comprehensive training report in coordination with project coordinator.
Any other task given by line manager.

Bachelor of Education or social sciences.
Very good spoken and written Pashto, Dari – understanding of English language is essential.
Able to travel inside of Faryab province and related districts, outside of the duty station when required.
Good working skills on computer (Microsoft Office Package).
Good communication and inter personal relation skills.
Ability to work independently in the field.
A good team player & problem solver.
Excellent in report writing.
