Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan.

Job Description:
1- Organized distribution of medicines according to hospital doctor prescriptions.
2- Protecting pharmacy equipment, supplies, and medicines and maintaining proper storage conditions
in the pharmacy room.
3- Accurately recording all distributed medicines in the daily drug consumption tally sheet.
4- Proper arrangement of medicines in the pharmacy room, considering light protection and storage
specifications for each medicine.
5- Keeping all prescriptions provided by the physicians.
6- Organizing medicines and supplies inside cabinets in an orderly manner (alphabetically).
7- Dividing medicine cabinets into Oral, Injectable, External, Medical Equipment, and Non-Medical
Equipment sections. It is recommended to display the medicine name and expiration date on each
cabinet.
8- Providing accurate and timely reports on medicine expiration dates, consumed quantities, and
remaining stock.
9- Using medicines according to the earliest expiration date, preventing wastage and expired
medications.
10- Performing duty shifts according to the schedule prepared by the hospital administration.
11- Carrying out other pharmacy-related tasks assigned by the hospital/HF administration.
12- Preparing and organizing monthly, quarterly, and annual work plans.
13- Submitting daily and monthly reports to the hospital /HF administration.
14- Providing timely reports to the hospital administration to prevent medicine shortages.
15- Participating in workshops and training courses organized for professional development.
16- Striving to create a friendly environment among staff and patients.
17- Regular and active participation in hospital meetings.
18- Continuous presence at the workplace.
19- Strict adherence to organizational policies and regulations.
20- Observing Islamic, ethical, and social laws.
Job Requirements:
Pharmacy degree is required. • At least 3 years of experience in as a Pharmacy at clinics/HFs, received, Medicine Quantification, Rational use of Medicine, Inventory management, IPCC, HMIS training as essential.
• Good understanding of BPHS and EPHS projects.
• Good knowledge of MoPH policies.
• Ability to manage a high workload and meet deadlines, demonstrated flexibility and multi-task ability.
• Good interpersonal skills, motivation for teamwork
