Good Nieghbors International (GNI) is an international humanitarian and development organization with its headquarters located in Seoul, Republic of Korea. We are non-profit, non-governmental organization and in General Consultative Status with the United Nations, Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC). GNI coordinates emergency relief, medical programs, educational and training programs, as well as community development projects, which enhance the capacity of individual beneficiaries, participants, employers and host organizations, in order to meet the opportunities and challenges of a changing Afghanistan.
The Project officer at GNI-AFG position requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills with excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Dari and Pashtu. A strategic thinker able to work successfully on multiple projects simultaneously, and works independently to conduct the day-to-day operations of the organization. Making accurate time table for all activities such Administrative, Financials and others.
To prepare an individual operation plan for current year and to plan daily activities.
Specific responsibilities and duties:
The Project officer reports to, and works collaboratively with the managerial level.
The ideal candidate assists the Managers carry-out the day-to-day activities of GNIA, including all administrative matters, manages and maintains GNIA’s official records and documents including incoming and outgoing documents and public relation publications under the supervision of the Managers.
The ideal candidate monitors the mass media such as newspapers and magazines, to collect necessary information for the organization.
a) Strong working knowledge of written and spoken English and Dari/Pashto
b) Ability to use Microsoft office programming and Outlook
c) Passionate about serving the poor, Self-motivated, Enthusiastic, Desire to learn
d) Team-player with good inter-personal skills, Willing to support others and share workloads
