ACBAR is pleased to share Localization in Action: Showcasing Best Practices from Afghanistan, developed as part of our ongoing advocacy and localization efforts to promote locally led humanitarian action.

The video features selected best practices from ACBAR member organizations, showcasing how national and international NGOs are working in partnership to strengthen local leadership, invest in institutional capacity, foster equitable partnerships, and place communities at the center of humanitarian action.

Localization in Afghanistan is not just a concept – ACBAR and our members can highlight practical examples of how commitments are being translated into action across Afghanistan.

By documenting these experiences, ACBAR aims to contribute to the growing body of evidence on localization in Afghanistan, promote learning and dialogue across the humanitarian community, and encourage continued investment in locally led approaches that empower national and local actors while strengthening collaboration across the humanitarian system.

Our sincere thanks to all ACBAR member organizations and partners who contributed to this initiative.
