Partners in Revitalization and Building (PRB) is a national NGO supporting vulnerable and underserved communities across Afghanistan. With more than 36 years of experience and over 265 humanitarian and development projects, PRB works across sectors including social services, agriculture and livestock, education and health.

Through its Strengthening the Resilience of Vulnerable Populations project, PRB supported 1,800 livestock-owning households across Balkh, Samangan and Jawzjan to improve animal health, productivity and livelihoods. Communities received training on livestock management, nutrition and animal product processing, along with feed, urea and straw kits and rehabilitation support for livestock shelters. Seasonal vaccination campaigns helped protect animals from common diseases, while 12 paravets received refresher training and 12 Animal Health Clinics were equipped with essential veterinary tools and equipment. Market-linkage exhibitions also connected livestock owners with local traders, helping improve access to markets and strengthen the sustainability of livestock-based livelihoods.
