Job Summary

About the Programme

Horizon Bridge Consulting (HBC), in partnership with is implementing an international donor-funded digital skills training programme for Afghan youth (ages 15–24) in Kabul and Herat. The programme trains young people in market-relevant digital skills across six specialisation pathways and links graduates to employment through internships, freelancing, and entrepreneurship support. Training runs from July to October 2026, with employment facilitation through November 2026.

Position Overview

You will lead 4 cohorts of 25 students through a programme focused on building and managing online businesses. This includes Amazon store management (FBA, product listings, seller tools), Shopify store setup, Instagram and WhatsApp social commerce, and digital payment integration. Graduates will either launch their own e-commerce businesses or work as digital enablers helping women entrepreneurs who have products but lack online sales capability.

 

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities

    Teach Amazon Seller Central setup, product listing optimisation, FBA vs FBM, keyword targeting, and Amazon advertising basics

    Teach Shopify store creation from scratch including theme customisation, product pages, and payment gateway integration

    Cover social commerce: Instagram Shopping, WhatsApp Business catalogue, Facebook Marketplace selling

    Teach digital payment systems (mobile money, HesabPay, international payment options) and order fulfilment logistics

    Guide students through launching a real or simulated online store with actual products

    Cover business fundamentals: pricing, profit margins, customer service, returns management

    Prepare students for Amazon Seller Fundamentals and Shopify Partner Academy certifications

    Integrate AI tools for product descriptions, listing optimisation, and customer service chatbots

    Support students interested in the digital enabler model (helping other women sell online)

Required Qualifications

    Minimum 3 year of hands-on experience selling products online (Amazon, Shopify, Instagram, or similar platforms)

    Demonstrated knowledge of Amazon Seller Central or Shopify admin

    Understanding of digital payment systems and basic logistics

    Experience teaching, training, or mentoring

    Fluency in Dari or Pashto; working English proficiency (Amazon interface is in English)

Preferred Qualifications

    Active Amazon seller account or Shopify store with real sales history

    Experience with social commerce in the Afghan or regional market

    Experience with WhatsApp Business for sales

    Knowledge of cross-border e-commerce and international shipping

    Female candidates are given strong preference
