- Scope of Work:
The project manager will be responsible for the overall management and implementation of the AHF project, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of The key responsibilities :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan, including detailed timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and oversee the project team, including field staff, logistics, and monitoring personnel.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders, including local authorities, community leaders, and other humanitarian organizations.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, identify and address any issues or challenges, and propose corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare regular progress reports, financial reports, and other project-related documentation as required.
2.2. Cash-based Interventions:
- Assess the feasibility and appropriateness of cash-based interventions in the project context.
- Develop and implement cash distribution mechanisms, including the selection and management of financial service providers.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of cash assistance to the target beneficiaries.
- Monitor the utilization of cash assistance and its impact on the targeted households.
2.3. Contextual Awareness and Coordination:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the current context in Kunar and Nuristan provinces, including the security situation, local dynamics, and humanitarian needs.
- Collaborate with other humanitarian organizations, government agencies, and local authorities to ensure the effective coordination of relief efforts.
- Identify and mitigate any potential risks or challenges that may affect the project's implementation.
