INTERSOS, with support from the Gates Foundation, is expanding lifesaving health and immunization services across remote “white areas” of Kandahar and Helmand.
Through 27 semi-static health camps and 60 outreach sites, mobile teams deliver routine and polio immunisation, maternal and child healthcare, nutrition treatment, and emergency referrals.
The video showcases real stories of zero-dose children receiving their first vaccines and mothers accessing antenatal care for the first time. It also highlights community engagement efforts that build trust, counter misinformation, and improve acceptance of services.
