On 14 October 2026, in collaboration with the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, ACBAR brought together senior representatives of the Office, the Ministry of Economy and NGO leadership for a strategic roundtable on programmatic priorities and operational coordination in Afghanistan.

The roundtable provided a dedicated platform for direct and constructive Government–NGO dialogue, focusing on shared goals, operational challenges and opportunities to strengthen coordination. Discussions aimed to identify practical, solution-oriented measures to facilitate the effective delivery of humanitarian and development assistance for the people of Afghanistan.

Key recommendations and takeaways from the roundtable will be shared with relevant stakeholders through appropriate coordination channels, with a view to supporting continued dialogue and translating discussions into practical follow-up.
