Job Summary

Important Notice

This Call for CVs is issued for the purpose of identifying and collecting CVs of qualified candidates for a proposed UNDP-funded project. The position is subject to project approval and funding confirmation. Submission of a CV does not constitute an offer of employment or guarantee of recruitment.

Job Purpose

The Field and Community Mobilizers / Assistants will support the implementation of project activities at community level by facilitating communication and engagement with beneficiaries, community members, local stakeholders, and relevant service providers. The position will support field-level coordination, beneficiary identification, awareness activities, data collection, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support project teams in organizing and implementing activities at community level.
  • Mobilize and engage targeted communities and potential beneficiaries.
  • Facilitate communication between OWE project staff and community members.
  • Support identification and registration of eligible beneficiaries in accordance with approved selection criteria.
  • Conduct community outreach and awareness activities related to project objectives and available opportunities.
  • Assist in organizing community meetings, consultations, trainings, workshops, and other project activities.
  • Support field teams in collecting beneficiary information and project-related data.
  • Assist with surveys, assessments, interviews, monitoring visits, and follow-up activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of community mobilization activities, meetings, participants, and beneficiaries.
  • Support dissemination of information about livelihood, employment, skills development, agricultural, poultry, livestock, and market-related opportunities, as applicable.
  • Facilitate referrals of beneficiaries to relevant project services and activities.
  • Support communication and coordination with community leaders, local stakeholders, service providers, and other relevant actors.
  • Identify community-level challenges, concerns, and feedback and report them to the relevant project staff.
  • Support the implementation of feedback and complaints mechanisms at community level.
  • Assist project staff in monitoring the participation and progress of beneficiaries.
  • Ensure respectful, inclusive, and non-discriminatory engagement with community members.
  • Maintain confidentiality of beneficiary and project information.
  • Support preparation of field reports, attendance sheets, activity documentation, and other required records.
  • Ensure compliance with OWE policies, safeguarding, PSEA, Code of Conduct, and other applicable project requirements.
  • Perform other field-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or relevant supervisor.

Job Requirements

  •               Minimum higher secondary school certificate; bachelor’s degree in agriculture, development studies, or related field preferred.
  •               Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in community mobilization, beneficiary registration, data collection, training support, field support, or distribution support.
  •              Good communication skills and fluency in local languages required.
  • Adequate mix of male and female mobilizers required for safe and inclusive implementation.
  • Experience conducting community meetings, awareness sessions, surveys, interviews, or data collection.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to project locations and communities.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse community groups, including women and vulnerable populations.

Languages

  • Fluency in Dari and/or Pashto.
  • Basic working knowledge of English is an advantage.
