Job Summary

The Accounts Clerk will support the daily accounting, financial, and data management operations of Momin Hospital. The position will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing data entry, recording transactions, organizing financial documents, assisting with cash reconciliation, and preparing routine financial reports. The ideal candidate must have strong attention to detail, good numerical and organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate and timely data entry of financial and administrative information into Excel, accounting systems, and other relevant databases.
  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Enter, update, and maintain financial data, invoices, receipts, payment records, and other related information.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other financial documents.
  • Assist with daily cash collection, verification, and reconciliation.
  • Verify billing documents, receipts, and payment records for accuracy.
  • Maintain records of hospital income, expenses, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
  • Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets, financial databases, and reporting files.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
  • Maintain proper filing and organization of financial and data-entry records.
  • Check entered data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency and correct errors when identified.
  • Coordinate with Reception, Pharmacy, and other hospital departments regarding financial transactions, data, and documentation.
  • Identify and report discrepancies, errors, or missing financial information to the Accounts Manager.
  • Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of financial and hospital information.
  • Perform other accounting, data-entry, and administrative duties assigned by the Accounts Manager or Hospital Management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or data entry; hospital experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory.
  • Basic knowledge of QuickBooks is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial documentation.
  • Previous experience in data entry and maintaining computerized records.
  • Ability to accurately enter, organize, and manage large amounts of data.
  • Good computer and MS Office skills.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
