In addition, the organization has membership of Afghanistan National Health cluster, Afghanistan National Nutrition Cluster and ACBAR. OPHCD, as a non-governmental organization striving for well-being of the people through promotion of health, education, WASH, protection and human right, economic stability and sustainable development of the communities with focus on the women and children, drugs users, IDPs and other marginalized group of the society with an equitable manner.

Job Summary

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The Admin/HR Assistant is responsible for supporting the administrative and human resource functions of the project. S/he reports to the Project Manager and Operations/HR Department.

The following are the main duties and responsibilities of this position:

·       Assist in managing day-to-day administrative and HR-related tasks at the project level.

·       Maintain and update staff personal files, ensuring all required documents are complete and properly filed.

·       Prepare and maintain incoming and outgoing correspondence related to HR and administration.

·       Keep accurate staff attendance records and report to the Finance Department at the end of each month.

·       Support the organization of meetings, trainings, and workshops, including logistics and documentation.

·       Record and distribute meeting minutes and follow up on action points.

·       Support recruitment processes, including collecting documents, filing applications, and assisting in staff onboarding.

·       Maintain and update the office inventory and asset register in coordination with the logistic team.

·       Ensure adherence to OPHCD’s HR and administrative policies in all related activities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

·       Education

·       University graduate with a business administration (BBA).

Experience

·       At least 2 years of progressive relevant experience with NNGO, INGOs or government.

·       At least one year past experience in BPHS or Health Projects.

·       Strong interpersonal communications and leadership skills.

·       Having community-level work experience and skills.

·       Fluent English, Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills;

·        Proficient computing skills including Word, Excel
