Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer responsible for the maintenance, testing, and supervision of electrical systems for telecom, power, and infrastructure projects. The candidate will ensure that all electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved designs, technical standards, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare and review electrical drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and technical reports.
  • Conduct site inspections and ensure electrical works comply with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance.
  • Work with generators, solar power systems, Rectifiers, batteries, ATS, distribution boards, and other electrical equipment.
  • Ensure proper earthing, grounding, cable installation, and electrical protection.
  • Coordinate with civil, mechanical, telecom, and other engineering teams.
  • Monitor contractors and technicians and ensure work is completed according to schedule and quality requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and relevant engineering standards.
  • Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, testing records, and other technical documentation.
  • Conduct site surveys and provide technical recommendations for new and existing facilities.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in electrical power systems, with strong practical experience in telecom power infrastructure, solar PV and hybrid power systems, diesel generators, rectifiers, battery systems, ATS, ATI and electrical distribution systems.
  • Experience in construction, telecom, or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, testing equipment, and troubleshooting.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and engineering software.
  • Good communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure and travel to project sites when required.
