Job Summary

•    Conduct Training of Trainers (ToT), initial and refresher training for S-WIFS focal teachers.
•    Train teachers on anemia prevention, IFA supplementation, nutrition education, safe tablet storage/handling, recording, reporting, and referral procedures.
•    Provide regular coaching and technical support to teachers and school management.
•    Conduct supportive supervision visits to targeted schools and assess the quality of S-WIFS implementation.
•    Monitor IFA availability, storage, distribution, weekly supplementation, student participation, and record keeping.
•    Review and verify school-level data and reports and submit timely consolidated reports to the Project Coordinator.
•    Identify implementation gaps and provide corrective actions and follow-up support.
•    Coordinate closely with  DED, school principals, teachers, communities, parents, and other stakeholders.
•    Support and organize awareness activities on anemia prevention, adolescent nutrition, and the benefits of IFA supplementation.
•    Ensure compliance with safeguarding, PSEA/PSH, child protection, accountability, and organizational policies.
•    Travel regularly to schools and districts within Kunar Province, including remote areas.

Job Requirements

Experience:
•    Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nutrition, Nursing, Medicine, Education, or a related field.
•    At least 3 years of relevant experience in public health, nutrition, school health, adolescent health, or community-based programs.
•    Previous experience in WIFS/S-WIFS, micronutrient supplementation, anemia prevention, or school-based health programs is highly desirable.
•    Demonstrated experience in training, mentoring, supervision, monitoring, and reporting.
•    Good coordination and communication skills with government and community stakeholders.
•    Good computer skills, particularly MS Word and Excel.
•    Willingness and ability to travel extensively within Kunar Province.
•    Language-  (Pashto: Fluent, Dari: Good working knowledge preferred, and English: Good working knowledge desirable)
