Job Summary

Job Purpose
The Handicraft Trainer will provide practical skills training and technical guidance to project beneficiaries in locally appropriate handicraft production, with the aim of improving their skills, product quality, and income-generating opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

prepaare curriculum for the Scpecifice training 
Conduct practical handicraft training according to the approved training plan and curriculum.
Train beneficiaries in embroidery, tailoring, beadwork, decorative items, and other locally appropriate handicrafts.
Demonstrate proper use of tools, equipment, and materials.
Support beneficiaries in improving product design, quality, finishing, and durability.
Introduce new designs and techniques based on local market demand.
Provide basic guidance on product costing, pricing, packaging, and marketing.
Prepare lesson plans and organize required training materials.

proficiancy in English Language

Maintain beneficiary attendance and training records.
Assess beneficiaries’ practical skills and provide continuous coaching and support.
Ensure safe, inclusive, and respectful participation of all beneficiaries.Submit regular training progress and activity reports.
Perform other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

12th Graduate, Bachelor's Degree is preferred , vocational certificate, or relevant training in handicrafts, tailoring, embroidery, or a related field.
At least 2 years of relevant practical experience in handicraft production and/or training.
Strong practical knowledge of locally appropriate handicraft techniques.
Good training, facilitation, and communication skills.
Basic knowledge of product design, quality control, costing, and marketing.
Good command of local languages.
Proficiency in English, with good verbal communication, writing, and reporting skills.
