ADWSO invites sealed quotations from legally registered and qualified audit firms to conduct the annual financial audit of ADWSO for fiscal year 2025. The selected firm will perform the audit at ADWSO's main office in Mazar-e-Sharif and, when required, visit project sites in Afghanistan.

Purpose of the RFQ

The purpose of this RFQ is to obtain a firm, all-inclusive quotation from an independent audit firm for ADWSO's fiscal year 2025 annual financial audit, including an audit opinion and practical management recommendations.

Terms of Reference

Audit Objectives

1. Express an independent audit opinion on whether ADWSO's financial statements for fiscal year 2025 are prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with the applicable financial reporting framework.
2. Assess whether financial transactions are adequately supported, properly authorized, accurately recorded, and consistently classified.
3. Review the design and operation of key financial controls and identify material weaknesses, significant deficiencies, or areas for improvement.
4. Assess compliance with applicable laws, donor agreements, ADWSO policies, approved budgets, and relevant contractual requirements.
