Job Description:

We are looking for experts with strong leadership skills in site Quality Assurance and Quality Controlling facilities to join our growing team. The QA&QC Engineer's responsibilities include quality assurance for the different parts of construction projects, supervising of the construction contractors, preparing and compiling of daily, weekly and monthly reports from the projects site. The candidate will be responsible for any changes at the project site, and checking and approval of the contractors’ invoices.

The responsibilities of the QA&QC Engineer include ensuring quality assurance for various components of construction projects, supervising construction contractors, and preparing and compiling daily, weekly, and monthly reports from the project site. The candidate will also be responsible for managing any changes at the project site and reviewing and approving contractors' invoices.

Job Requirements:

  • Collaborate with the project manager and construction contractors to determine the project specifications.
  • Ensure the approval of construction materials based on the contract and project requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day supervision from the project site location(s) and ensure the availability of project documents at the project site location(s).
  • Obtain permits and necessary documents from relevant authorities and stakeholders in accordance with the project requirements.
  • Determine the required resources (manpower, equipment, and construction materials) for the contractors at the project site location.
  • Follow up on the contract documents such as the bill of quantities, drawings, and technical specifications, and record them in the log books on a daily basis.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports from the project site location to the main office and/or the client.
  • Conduct weekly, biweekly, and monthly meetings with the contractors, the main office, the consultant, and the client as needed.
  • Evaluate progress reports, prepare detailed reports, review contractor's invoices, and provide approval.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards and promptly report any issues to the main office and relevant parties.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the site Quality Control (QC) engineers in the field, and review daily logs and reports from the field.
  • Attend meetings and facilitate discussions on project-related issues based on the project requirements
  • Review, recalculate, and analyze relevant data that may arise during the execution of the project's construction implementation.
  • Possess the ability to evaluate, analyze, and apply management skills to identify solution strategies for anticipated problems that may arise during project implementation.
  • Perform any additional responsibilities that may be required for the project, as assigned by the project manager and management.
