Job Description:

  • Charge company's Accounting Management, Accounting Documents Management, Cash Management, Tax Management, Finance Management, Cooperate with internal, external, and tax audits, Site management, and Seal Management.
  • Establish financial accounting rules, including accounting rules based on a cash basis and accrual basis, and vouchers review process.
  • Comply with the accounting rules, manage all the accounting work, review all the accounting vouchers, complete monthly closing work and prepare financial statements.
  • Develop financial accounting skills of a local team, including allocating financial accounting work among the local team, reviewing accounting works of the local team, and evaluating the performance of the local team.
  • Establish accounting archive rules, including determining confidentiality levels, and the process of collection, archiving, and borrowing.
  • Make a cash plan including a petty cash plan, investigate and warn foreign exchange risks, and make sure cash is safe and at a reasonable level.
  • Establish petty cash rules, including registration and maintenance of ledgers, determine business scenarios, applying and write off approval process.
  • Overall plan and manage tax revenue, ensure tax legality, and keep tax expense reasonable. Maintain good relationships with tax office and other government, make tax returns and complete tax returns on time, apply for tax exemptions, tax refunds, and other tax benefits, pay taxes on time and track tax refunds. Comply with the invoice management rules, keep safe of the tax control machine and tax invoices, issue and certify invoices, and check the tax same between the tax control machine, invoice book, and accounting.
  • Cooperate with audit work, provide appropriate information, and ensure that no significant audit adjustments or other material errors occur.
  • Establish warehouse management rules, including registration and maintenance of warehouse material ledgers, management of virtual and physical warehouse locations, establishment of stock-in processes, establishment of stock-out processes, the establishment of inventory counting processes, establishment of inventory counting gains and losses processes, establishment of warehouse scrap processes, and implementation of warehouse HSE.
  • Establish PPE management rules, including registration and maintenance of PPE ledgers, the establishment of PPE counting processes, the establishment of PPE counting gains and losses processes, the establishment of PPE patrol Inspection and problem follow-up process, and the PPE maintenance and repair process.
 

Job Requirements:

  • We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor to oversee our accounting department’s daily operations.
  • You will work closely with a team of accountants to manage financial functions, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and tax audits. Our ideal candidate uses strong analytical skills to create detailed financial reports and forecasts. To succeed in this role, you should also have a problem-solving attitude and be able to manage a team.
  • Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our financial management is accurate and effective.
  • Reviewing and processing payments to vendors- within the period mentioned in the contract
  • Ensuring 100% accuracy of vouchers submitted for manager’s review.
  • Financial advisory- 90% satisfaction rate
  • Ensure 95% accuracy of reports received from direct reports. 
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 7 or more years of experience in business accounting, or the International finance field
  • Excellent knowledge of Afghan tax laws and procedures.

  • Intermediate level MS Office and Excel.

  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks.

  • Excellent written and spoken English, Pashto and Dari.
