Position Summary

TM4 Security Services is seeking qualified, disciplined, and motivated Afghan nationals to serve as Unarmed Local Security Guard. The successful candidates will be responsible for protecting personnel, facilities, and assets by performing access control, patrols, screening, surveillance, emergency response, and other security duties in accordance with client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities

The Unarmed Local Security Guard shall:

• Conduct active perimeter surveillance and immediately report suspicious activities.
• Control pedestrian and vehicle access to the premises.
• Operate boom barriers and manage traffic safely.
• Verify identification cards, visitor authorizations, and vehicle passes.
• Conduct vehicle inspections using mirrors and other approved inspection methods.
• Screen personnel and visitors using metal detectors and X-ray screening equipment where applicable.
• Prevent unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, compounds, and designated areas.
• Report security, safety, and maintenance concerns promptly.
• Escort visitors, contractors, and deliveries as directed.
• Respond professionally to emergencies including fire, medical incidents, bomb threats, and security incidents.
• Administer basic first aid when required.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain security logs.
• Maintain high standards of discipline, integrity, and customer service.

Minimum Qualifications

• Afghan National.
• Minimum High School (12th Grade) certificate.
• Previous military, police, or private security experience is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant security experience.
• Ability to communicate in Dari and Pashto.
• Basic English communication and reading skills are required.
• Physically fit and medically capable of performing security duties.
• No criminal record.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with United Nations, diplomatic missions, embassies, NGOs, international organizations or any other international and local secrity company.
• First Aid certification.
• Fire safety training.
• Access control and screening experience.
• Customer service skills.
• Defensive security training.
