Job Purpose
The Water Pump & Inverter Repair Trainer will provide theoretical and practical training to project beneficiaries on installation, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of water pumps, electrical inverters, and related systems, enabling trainees to develop marketable technical skills for employment and self-employment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct theoretical and practical training according to the approved curriculum and training plan.
Train beneficiaries on different types of water pumps, motors, inverters, and their main components.
Teach installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of water pumps.
Train beneficiaries on diagnosing and repairing common electrical and mechanical faults in pumps and motors.
Provide practical training on inverter installation, configuration, fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repair.
Train beneficiaries on basic electrical wiring, circuits, voltage, current, and electrical components.
Provide basic training on solar-powered water pumps and inverter systems, where applicable.
Ensure safe handling of electricity, electrical equipment, tools, and workshop materials.
Teach preventive maintenance and proper equipment care.
Provide basic guidance on repair costing, customer service, record keeping, and small workshop management.
Prepare lesson plans and practical exercises.
Maintain beneficiary attendance, assessments, and training records.
Assess trainees’ theoretical knowledge and practical competencies.
Maintain training tools and equipment in good working condition.
Submit regular training progress and activity reports.
Perform other relevant duties assigned by the supervisor.
