ACBAR Celebrates Graduation of SHAPE TPP Cohort 1 Partners
Kabul, 14 August 2025 – ACBAR marked a major milestone with the Graduation Ceremony of its SHAPE TPP Cohort 1 Partners, celebrating over five years of partnership, growth, and transformation.
Launched in November 2019, SHAPE TPP aimed to strengthen the institutional capacity of national NGOs. Cohort 1 partners successfully completed the program in the end of March 2025 after achieving remarkable progress in policy development, financial and program management, staff capacity building, accountability mechanisms, and service delivery.
The ceremony featured an open discussion, where partners reflected on achievements, challenges, and recommendations for future programs. ACBAR HOP, Mr. Dayne Curry, addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of governance, accountability, and sustainable growth of national NGOs.
The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, honoring Cohort 1 partners for their dedication and collaboration.
“We are proud of our Cohort 1 partners. This is not goodbye — it’s the beginning of their next chapter,”
The celebration reaffirmed ACBAR’s commitment to strengthening civil society in Afghanistan and supporting national NGOs to play a greater role in humanitarian and development efforts.
