Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, met with the ACBAR Director.
On 18 August 2025, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, met with the ACBAR Director, Mr. Namik Heydarov.
The discussion focused on the implementation of development projects in Afghanistan and the importance of effective coordination with relevant institutions.
Mr. Heydarov noted that with improved security conditions, opportunities exist to expand development initiatives. He emphasized that it is important not only to attract but also to retain foreign aid for Afghanistan, and reaffirmed ACBAR’s commitment to work with international partners and Afghan institutions to help ensure projects are implemented effectively.
