Engagement Training for member NGOs in Balkh Province

ACBAR, as per its commitment to the capacity building of member NGOs, always provides training to national and international NGO members, addressing specific needs in both technical and administrative domains. This support aims to enhance organizational effectiveness, sustainability, and program delivery.

After conducting four engagement trainings in the southeastern region (Khost province) and eastern region (Nangarhar province) in 2024, and northeastern region (Kunduz province) in 2025, ACBAR’s advocacy, communication, and engagement department decided to conduct this training for member NGOs in the northern region (Balkh province) in the second quarter of 2025.

This training was designed for two days, and ACBAR’s regional office coordinated with member NGOs in the northeastern region, and the training was held on 14-15 April 2025 with the objective of enhancing participants’ knowledge regarding policy influence, collaboration, partnership, communication, and engagement.

A total of 31 staff members participated from member NGOs in the northern region of Afghanistan in this training. The majority of these participants were senior-level staff, as most of them are dealing with engagement issues every day. Participants benefited the most from the training, as they are responsible for implementing projects and programs in their area of work, so they needed to improve their knowledge in engagement.

ACBAR will continue to is support in capacity building of national and international member NGOs as ACBAR believes that Effective NGOs could be the pillar for Stronger Communities.
