Job Description:
This role is ideal for a proactive and target-driven individual with strong sales, networking, and proposal-writing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development and Lead Generation
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in local and international markets.
- Conduct market research to identify target sectors, potential clients, and emerging trends.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to understand client needs and present tailored solutions.
- Act as the first point of contact for all business development inquiries.
Proposal Writing and Tender Management
- Prepare high-quality business proposals, company profiles, presentations, and tender documents.
- Manage the complete bid process, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Expressions of Interest (EOIs).
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information required for submissions.
Negotiation and Contract Closure
- Negotiate commercial terms and finalize agreements with clients.
- Follow up on submitted proposals and convert opportunities into signed contracts.
- Ensure revenue targets and performance objectives are achieved.
Marketing and Brand Development
- Support the implementation of marketing and outreach strategies.
- Contribute to website content, newsletters, and social media campaigns.
- Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and client meetings.
Reporting and CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, and client communications.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
- Monitor performance against established KPIs.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or consultancy services.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Strong proposal writing, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and consistently achieve performance targets.

- Revenue generated from new contracts
- Number of new clients acquired
