About Sustainable Development Organization of Afghanistan (SDOA):

The Sustainable Development Organization of Afghanistan (SDOA) is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization registered with the Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan in 2016. It is dedicated to promoting capacity development and implementing initiatives in social welfare, education, health, and agriculture across the country.

Job Description:

  • Ensure timely payments of all invoices;
  • Ensure preparation of staff payroll and pay slip in due time;
  • Ensure all payments are made on a timely basis ensuring all expenditures have proper receipts and are correctly coded.
  • Ensure proper tracking record for advance payment, utility payment, Rent Payment, Contracts bill payment, etc.
  • Post daily transactions in Cash Books;
  • File and retrieve records in accordance with established procedures and filing systems.
  • Prepare daily cash vouchers and maintain registers.
  • Keep proper records of all receipts, payments, etc.
  • Managing staff records.
  • Preparing pay slips.
  • Supervise payments for procurement of supplies and maintain an accurate and truthful record of sums received and disbursed.
  • Coordination of procurement, transportation, finance, and logistics.
  • Prepare monthly basis financial reports.
  • Prepare the staff timesheet and make sure of the everyday attendance of staff.
  • Preparing leave and Travel approval forms for staff;
  • Control day-to-day cash of the office and ensure cash safety.
  • Any other duties that the direct supervisor may request.

Job Requirements:

A bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics, Business Administration, ACCA, or any other relevant education with three (3) years of experience in Financial Management positions, preferably in International Organizations.
