High Afghanistan Rehabilitation Organization (HARO) is a humanitarian non-governmental national organization that works to improve the life conditions of the residents of rural areas by providing good services through the implementation of projects and fostering economic, social, cultural, and civil conditions of vulnerable and marginalized communities in Afghanistan.

 

Job Description:

 

1. Develop, implement, and monitor child protection initiatives within the designated community or project area.

2. Conduct assessments to identify risks faced by children, including poverty, violence, and exploitation.

3. Design and facilitate programs aimed at mitigating identified risks and promoting the well-being of children.

4. Engage and train local stakeholders, including community leaders, educators, and social workers, to foster a protective environment for children.

5. Collaborate regularly with governmental and non-governmental organizations to ensure a holistic approach to child protection.

6. Monitor and evaluate ongoing projects, tracking progress against established benchmarks.

7. Prepare reports for stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.

8. Adapt strategies based on feedback and changing circumstances to improve effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in the relevant field & a master's degree will be advantages.

5 years of working experience in the child protection field/or humanitarian programming environment.

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups, are imperative, including full working knowledge of English

Knowledge of Humanitarian principles and demonstrated experience in capacity building.

Fluency in local languages and excellent reporting skills in English are required.

 Strong analytical and reporting skills.
