Position Summery

The Tailor will be responsible for cutting, sewing, altering, and repairing garments while ensuring high-quality standards in all produced items.
The role requires proficiency in tailoring techniques for both Male and female, pattern making, and garment construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Stitch, alter, and repair garments according to design specifications and customer requirements.
• Measure customers and ensure proper garment fitting.
• Cut fabric and materials accurately based on patterns and measurements.
• Operate sewing machines, overlock machines, and other tailoring tools.
• Maintain and repair tailoring equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with designers and production teams to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure high-quality finishing and detailing in all garments.
• Work with different types of fabrics, including cotton, silk, wool, and synthetic materials.
• Follow safety and hygiene standards in the tailoring workshop.
• Keep records of materials used and completed orders.
• Assist in selecting appropriate fabrics and accessories for garments.
• Provide recommendations for design improvements and alterations.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
• Any other duites assigned by line Manager.

• Proven experience as a tailor, preferably in a commercial tailoring or a brand.
• Proficiency in operating sewing machines and tailoring tools.
• Knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, and stitching techniques.
• Ability to follow patterns and design specifications accurately for both Male and Female Cloting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple orders efficiently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
