Job Summary:
ISDR-Organization is hiring a qualified and experienced Project Specialist (Female) with a background in health and project management to lead the planning, implementation, and supervision of a health project. The ideal candidate will hold an MD degree and demonstrate strong experience in managing public health or clinical programs. This role combines project coordination with technical expertise to ensure high-quality service delivery and stakeholder engagement.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate day-to-day health project activities in accordance with project plans.
- Supervise medical and project staff to ensure efficient and quality service delivery.
- Support community outreach and health education initiatives.
- Monitor medical data, reporting, and stock/inventory management.
- Ensure project adherence to national health guidelines, MoPH protocols, and donor requirements.
- Liaise with local authorities, partners, and stakeholders for coordination and collaboration.
- Conduct technical assessments and support the development of future health proposals.
- Prepare regular progress and technical reports for internal and external stakeholders.

- Medical Doctor (MD) degree from a recognized university (Master of Public Health or diploma in project management is an advantage).
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in health project management, public health, or clinical supervision.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Afghanistan’s health system, MoPH protocols, and donor compliance standards.
- Proficiency in Dari, Pashto, and English (both written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel to project locations as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic digital tools.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to dynamic environments and work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
