Job Description:

Job Summary

The Data & Reporting Officer will be assigned to his/her post by the Management Team. He/she will be responsible to the Project Manager, School Feeding Program in Poverty Prone Areas. Below are the main responsibility of Data and Reporting Officer.

 

Main Duties& Responsibilities

  • To prepare and update the database, monthly user report, and monthly distribution plan, and accordingly initiate requisition of food aid commodities on a monthly basis, which will be sent to the Project Manager regularly. 
  • To be responsible for collecting all attendance cards monthly basis and waybills to send to the respective Project Manager.
  • To prepare and send the monthly report, quarterly narrative report, incidence report (if any), monthly utilization report, training and meeting report and stock position, monthly attendance report, and quarterly report, etc.
  • Monitoring visits to ensure the quality according to guidelines at all levels
  • Support Field Monitors/Supervisor and ensure the quality of weekly and monthly reports from the distribution points. 
  • Complete the monitoring checklist, analyze it, and provide appropriate feedback to supervisors and staff members.
  • Support the line supervisor in preparing the quarterly and annual reports.
  • Prepare a case study of selected cases and follow up for monitoring
  • Prepare a monitoring format based on the requirements of the project;
  • Ensure M&E plans are compiled and updated, and indicator tracking is done.
  • Assist Project Managers to build in mechanisms for regular critical reflection on their project outcomes (including unintended effects), and for developing lessons learned.
  • Work with M&E to strengthen the MIS that can receive process and retrieve data obtained from the field and support the development of more streamlined project-based information management systems and formats.
  • To compile and edit the monthly reports received from the units.
  • To fulfill such other functions as may be assigned to him/her by the Line manager.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Social Science, Economics, BBA, or any other related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in similar positions in the school feeding Program with national and international NGOs.
  • Excellent Pashto and Dari reading, writing, and verbal skills, Fluent in English, reading, writing, and verbal skills.
  • Travel – The position will be based in the province with frequent travel to the districts.
  • Efficiency, result-oriented, and excellent management capabilities;
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and harsh conditions; ability to handle confidential and politically sensitive issues responsibly and maturely;
  • Excellent capacity development and teamwork skills; cross-cultural and gender sensitivity;
  • Respect the confidentiality of the organization;
  • Ability to use information technology effectively.
