Job Description:
Job Summary
The post holder will be responsible for the following duties;
Main Duties& Responsibilities
- Responsible of the district-level Food items
- To ensure that all food commodities are kept in such a condition that commodities would not be damaged while in store. And to ensure the security of Food & Non-Food commodities in the warehouse.
- Weighing and packaging items.
- Managing the baking ingredients inventory.
- Tracking ingredient expiry dates and arranging their use accordingly.
- Monitoring the visual appeal and the availability of baked goods on display.
- Reporting low baked goods stock.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy baked goods counter and performing other duties on request.
- Cleaning the kitchen after business hours and preparing it for the next day.
- Managing complaints and relaying them to the Baker.
- Responsible for all cake-baking duties.
- Any other duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- The applicant must have a High School Diploma or 14th grade from a recognized Institute in a similar field.
- At least 1 years’ experience in the field.
- Experience working in INGOs/NGOs and Knowledge of specific donor guidelines.
- Field experience of managing inventory/supplies/stock storage or products in the past.
- Excellent writing and speaking of Pashto, Dari.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, & presentation skills are required.
- Vocational training or baking coursework would be advantageous.
- Previous experience in serving customers in a bakery environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in weighing, pricing, and packaging of baked goods.
- Ability to manage ingredient inventories and to track expiry dates.
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to create visually appealing displays of baked goods.
- Knowledge of food and health industry regulations.
- Advanced ability to multitask and follow instructions given by bakers.
