Job Description:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher Trainer to design, facilitate, and evaluate training programs for educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing teaching excellence. You will play a key role in enhancing instructional skills, classroom management, curriculum implementation, and professional development among teaching staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence with APBHO policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.
- Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
- Ensure proper filing of documents.
- Promote and share ideas for technical improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver high-quality teacher training workshops, seminars, and courses.
- Provide in-service training and ongoing professional development to teachers.
- Support the implementation of new teaching methodologies and curriculum changes.
- Mentor and coach teachers to improve classroom practices and student engagement.
- Assess the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements.
- Develop training materials, manuals, and e-learning resources.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in education, pedagogy, and teacher development.
- Collaborate with school leadership and curriculum specialists to align training with institutional goals.
- Observe classroom teaching and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Any other task assigned by APBHO and or Project Manager.
Job Requirements:
Job Requirements
- Teaching certification or licensure.
- Minimum (2-4) years of classroom teaching experience.
- Prior experience in training or mentoring teachers is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of instructional strategies, curriculum development, and assessment.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using digital tools and educational technology.
Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with differentiated instruction, inclusive education, or inquiry-based learning. And familiarity with national curriculum standards.
- Ability to adapt training for various levels (primary, secondary, adult education).
- Able to speak and communicate in local languages – English is preferable.
- Able to work with different people who have different natures.
- Able to engage people in the project’s different activities
- Able to work on the project database
- Able to convince people who are not cooperative with our team
- Able to work as a unified team
Other skill (Language):
- Report writing, Listing, public speaking, monitoring and evaluation skills.
Education / Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
