About New Consultancy and Relief Organization:
The New Consultancy and Relief Organization (NCRO) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1993 and dedicated to serving vulnerable communities across Afghanistan. With over three decades of experience, NCRO has been actively engaged in delivering humanitarian aid, implementing livelihood and development projects, and supporting disaster-affected and food-insecure populations. As a local NGO, NCRO works closely with communities, local authorities, and international partners to promote resilience, self-reliance, and sustainable development through inclusive and needs-based programming.
Job Description:
NCRO is seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a multi-component livelihood project across Laghman (Mehterlam) and Nangarhar (Surkhroad). The project includes the distribution of Medium-Sized Greenhouse Packages, Backyard Beekeeping Kits, Soybean Cultivation Packages, Livestock Protection Packages, Dairy Kits, and Poultry Packages, benefiting a total of 2,790 households. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordination, staff supervision, beneficiary tracking, reporting, and ensuring the timely delivery of project activities in both provinces.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, or Project Management (Master’s degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in managing multi-sectoral livelihood or agricultural projects, including distribution of kits/packages and field team supervision.
- Ability to manage budgets, procurement, and field logistics.
- Fluent in Pashto and Dari; English proficiency is required for reporting.
