Job Announcement: Russian-Language Translator

Position Type:
Permanent, Full-Time

Location:
Kabul, Afghanistan (with occasional travel to provinces with Russian partners)

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate technical documents, manuals, reports, and correspondence between Dari/Pashto and Russian
• Provide interpretation during meetings, factory visits, and partner interactions
• Proofread and edit Russian-language materials for accuracy and clarity
• Assist in facilitating communication between local and Russian teams

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Russian Language, Linguistics, or Translation Studies
• Fluency in Russian (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in Dari and/or Pashto
• Experience with technical or industrial translation is preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
