Job Description:
The Cleaner is responsible for the cleanness and hygiene of the INTERSOS compound.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Respect the schedule and frequency of each cleaning task.
Use appropriate cleaning products with appropriate dosage for appropriate usages.
Provide consumables when needed in needed quantities as the right place, such as toilet paper, soap, dish washing liquid, sponges.
Report to the manager the needed materials or consumables on a weekly basis to avoid shortages.
Manage the laundry, gathering the dirty linens and clothes, scheduling their washing, ironing, folding and dispatching them. Ensure personal clothes return to their owner.
Indicate to the manager any identified need for maintenance.
Assist the cook in daily cooking and kitchen cleaning.
Assist the cook in the distribution of lunch and tea for staff and guests.
Provide support for any other task as requested by the manager.
Job Requirements:
Pashto and Dari skills are required; English is preferable.
Previous experience working for an international NGO is preferable.
Commitment to INTERSOS principles.
Comply with all relevant INTERSOS policies and procedures.
