Are you a passionate, energetic and a results-oriented individual with strong communication skills and solid knowledge? If yes, this opportunity is for you. Kardan Center for Professional Development is seeking experienced and motivated Assistant to the Diploma Program Coordinator.

The Assistant to the Diploma Program Coordinator provides essential support to the coordinator in managing and facilitating the various aspects of the Diploma program within the English Department. This role involves administrative tasks, communication with students and faculty, and helping to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Diploma Program Coordinator with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and maintaining calendars.
  • Manage the documentation and filing systems for program-related records, including student applications, course materials, and reports.
  • Communicate to students and faculty regarding program updates, events, and important deadlines.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for students enrolled in the Diploma program, answering inquiries and providing information about program requirements, courses, and academic policies.
  • Assist in the coordination of student advising sessions and the registration process for courses.
  • Organize and support student orientation sessions and workshops.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to collect and organize course syllabus, learning materials, and student assessments.
  • Help coordinate department events, including guest lectures, literary readings, and networking opportunities.
  • Assist in the evaluation and development of program materials and initiatives to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate student records in compliance with institutional policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and evaluations related to program performance and student achievement.

Job Requirements:

  • At least bachelor’s degree in BBA, Economics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an academic or administrative support role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with student management systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational, management, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Written and verbal proficiency in Dari, Pashto and English languages.
