Afg-Chin Oil and Gas Limited is a company that collaborates with the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan. They are involved in oilfield exploration, development, production, and surface engineering construction in northern Afghanistan. The company operates under an Exploration and Production Sharing Contract (EPSC) signed in January 2023.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in professional cooking, excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, and a passion for delivering high-quality meals. This role requires flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail to meet food service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in accordance with recipes, menus, and quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, following all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Manage kitchen inventory, including monitoring food and equipment levels and coordinating restocking with the supervisor
• Train and assist junior kitchen staff as needed
• Ensure consistent food quality, proper portion sizes, and appealing presentation
• Coordinate with service staff to ensure prompt and accurate food delivery
• Adapt to menu changes, special dietary needs, and respond to customer feedback promptly

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen
• Basic education
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation methods, and cooking techniques
• Familiarity with multiple Chinese cuisines is an advantage
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Good communication skills and basic time management abilities
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Working Conditions

• Office-based role with standard working hours.
