Job Description:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training modules and workshops tailored for school teachers on pedagogy, curriculum delivery, and classroom management.
  • Facilitate interactive training sessions that incorporate adult learning principles and participatory techniques.
  • Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching to teachers to enhance their professional skills and classroom practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and suggest improvements based on feedback and observations.
  • Collaborate with education stakeholders, including school administrators and education officers, to ensure alignment of training with curriculum standards and policies.
  • Prepare training materials, manuals, and reports documenting training activities and outcomes.
  • Identify training needs and recommend capacity-building interventions.
  • Develop training curricula and materials tailored specifically for school teachers.
  • Conduct training sessions according to the agreed schedule.
  • Prepare reports on training attendance, participant feedback, and evaluation results.
  • Provide recommendations for the ongoing professional development of teachers.
  • Mentor and support volunteer teachers to improve their teaching practices.
  • Monitor and assess the progress of teachers during and after training sessions. 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in teacher training, curriculum development, or educational facilitation.
  • Strong knowledge of pedagogical methods and school curriculum.
  • Experience in adult learning methodologies and capacity building.
