About Support Children and Afghan Women Needs Organization (SCAWNO):

Support Children and Afghan Women Needs Organization (SCAWNO) is an Afghan non-governmental, not-for-profit and non-political organization established in 2008 with the aims of community development, good governance, capacity building. SCAWNO came to existence with years of professional, qualified and dedicated Afghans who have served in various capacities to respond to the needs of societies. SCAWNO founded by the members of Local Youth Councils, which was established by Youth We work toward an Afghanistan in which the population lives in peace, with self-dignity and self-sufficiency, and where people manage their own personal development and the development of the society in which they live. Job Description:

Human Resources Management:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding of new staff.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection policies.
  • Coordinate staff performance evaluations and probation reviews in collaboration with line managers.
  • Manage employee leave records, attendance tracking, and timesheet collection.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR-related documents.
  • Conduct exit interviews and manage the offboarding process for departing employees.

Administrative Support:

  • Oversee daily office operations, including procurement of supplies and maintenance of office equipment.
  • Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions, including logistical arrangements and documentation.
  • Ensure proper filing and archiving of administrative and HR documents, both in hard and soft copies.
  • Liaise with government agencies and other organizations as required for administrative matters.
  • Support the Provincial Manager in implementing organizational policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience Administration and Human Resource

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills in Dari, Pashto and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Based in Kabul, with standard working hours from Saturday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The role may require occasional travel within Afghanistan.
