NSRDO is a youth-led organization founded in 2006, dedicated to empowering marginalized women, children, and people with disabilities across Afghanistan. We focus on uplifting vulnerable communities by addressing critical issues such as poverty, education, WASH, healthcare, and sustainable development. Guided by the belief that everyone deserves a fair chance at a better future, we work tirelessly to provide resources, support, and hope to those in need.

We also work in food & security, agriculture, emergency relief, nutrition, peacebuilding, livelihood, community infrastructure, and the defense of human rights. NSRDO commenced its operations in 2005. Since then, NSRDO has been operating in Kabul and other provinces of Afghanistan and has regional offices in Nangarhar, Kandahar, Herat, Kunduz, Bamyan, and Paktia Provinces, along with its head office in Kabul.
NSRDO was registered in the Ministry of Planning by decision no. (951) dated 25/6/1383 and entitled to work in the capital, Kabul, and other provinces. This is also reregistered in the Ministry of Economy by decision no. (598) dated 8/6/06. Additionally, the US Embassy, the European Commission, the Canadian Fund, UNPP, UNGM, MoLSA, MoMD, MoE, and MoPH all have NSRDO registered.

NSRDO operates solely in Afghanistan, aiming to transform itself into one of Afghanistan’s foremost- developed NGOs. Although it continues to respond to the needs of rural communities in order to improve their living condition and utilize the resource in a well and transparent manner. NSRDO endeavors to reach the most disadvantaged groups in Afghan society often under very difficult circumstances. 1. Background

The education manager will oversee and manage all educational aspects of the Community-Based Education (CBE) Project, ensuring alignment with educational policies, donor regulations, and local laws. This role is crucial in maintaining the educational integrity and accountability of the project.

2. Purpose of the Position

The Education Manager will be responsible for managing the educational operations of the CBE Project, ensuring effective program implementation, compliance with educational standards, and teacher training processes.

3. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day educational operations, including curriculum implementation.
• Prepare accurate and timely educational reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
• Assist in the development of annual educational plans and program forecasts.
• Monitor program implementation and provide performance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, educational policies, and statutory regulations.
• Coordinate external evaluations and liaise with assessors.
• Manage teacher training and professional development initiatives.
• Supervise and mentor junior educational staff.
• Support resource management and ensure timely provision of educational materials.
• Review and enhance internal educational controls and procedures.
• Maintain up-to-date educational records and documentation.
• Liaise with educational institutions and other stakeholders.
• Participate in educational planning and risk management.

• Bachelor’s degree in education, educational management, or a related field.
• Professional qualification in education management preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant educational experience, preferably in non-profit or donor-funded projects.
• Strong knowledge of educational regulations, pedagogy, and curriculum standards.
• Experience with educational software and management systems (e.g., LMS platforms).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
