Job Description:
- Manage all pharmacy-related tasks at the office level, including medicine and nutrition stock.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medicine and nutrition supplies (stock cards, bin cards, inventory).
- Conduct regular supervision and monitoring visits to health facilities under the DAWAM project.
- Ensure correct and timely packaging of medicines for Community Health Workers (CHWs).
- Supply CHW medicine kits and other required pharmacy items to health posts (HPs) as scheduled.
- Collect monthly pharmacy reports from all BHCs and health posts.
- Enter collected pharmacy data accurately into the pharmacy database/system on a monthly basis.
- Coordinate with field staff and relevant departments to track medicine consumption and distribution.
- Monitor expiry dates and storage conditions of medicines at provincial and facility level stock.
- Prepare and update pharmacy stock reports, order requests, and stock reconciliation.
- Support in forecasting medicine and nutrition supply needs based on consumption trends.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy and supply chain protocols and guidelines.
- Report any shortages, overstock, or discrepancies to the supervisor immediately.
- Participate in relevant coordination meetings and trainings as assigned.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing system of pharmacy-related documents.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Pharmacy.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in pharmaceutical or medical supply management.
- Familiarity with BPHS/EPHS pharmacy procedures and MoPH standards.
- Strong understanding of drug classification, storage, and distribution guidelines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and pharmacy software tools (if applicable).
Fluency in Dari or Pashto; basic working knowledge of English is preferred
