Job Description:
- Project Management & Supervision:
- Lead and supervise the implementation of orthopedic and physiotherapy services within the project scope.
- Ensure that CRCs are functioning effectively and that technical teams are delivering high-quality rehabilitation services.
- Develop and manage weekly/monthly work plans and follow up on activities across Kabul and provincial coordination points.
- Coordination & Communication:
- Act as the main liaison between RCY Kabul Office, provincial teams, consortium partners, and government agencies.
- Attend regular coordination meetings (internal and external) and represent RCY professionally.
- Facilitate communication between MHPSS and physical rehabilitation teams to ensure integrated service delivery.
- Technical Support & Quality Assurance:
- Supervise the performance of physiotherapists, orthopedic technicians, and CRC staff.
- Ensure adherence to project standards, donor requirements, and national protocols.
- Support the procurement and distribution of required equipment and materials.
- Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor progress against indicators and timelines, identify risks and propose solutions.
- Compile and submit timely progress reports, statistics, success stories, and incident reports.
- Assist in the preparation of donor reports and audits.
- Capacity Building:
- Identify staff training needs and coordinate technical capacity-building initiatives.
- Mentor field teams and promote a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement.
- Office Responsibility:
- Designing and implementing the work plan and obtaining approval from the project manager.
- Necessary coordination in the advancement of activities.
- Regular creation of filing system.
- Providing accurate daily, monthly and quarterly reports to direct supervisors.
- Run and update databases.
- Correct use of materials, tools and equipment related to the office.
- Regulating, maintaining and taking care of the property and goods of the department.
- Develop and streamline operational efficiencies.
- Contact delinquent accounts.
- Raising the level of knowledge and capacity building.
- Compliance with all ethical code, code of conduct, disciplines introduced by the organization.
- Obtaining complete knowledge about the organization and all the policies of the organization.
- Stay current with all regulations, requirements, and laws of government of Afghanistan
- Good behavior with clients and staff.
- Inform the direct commander in time of any kind of accidents that have happened.
- Carrying out other tasks assigned by the department.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in public health, international development, project management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in health-related projects or NGO settings.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mobilize teams towards common goals.
- Proven experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, with a focus on results-based management.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, donors, and communities.
- Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and grant administration, with knowledge of donor regulations and reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make evidence-based decisions.
- Fluency in spoken and written Dari or Pashto; proficiency in English language desirable.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications and project management software.
- Ability to travel to provinces.
