Organization for Community Coordination and Development (OCCD) established and registered with Ministry of Economy in 2013, is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-political and independent organization. OCCD works in partnership with Government, development and implementing partners in Health, Education, Agriculture and Livestock, Research and Development
Job Description:
1. Training Planning & Coordination:
- Map out project training plans for new trainees (vaccinators).
- Follow up and track training implementation plan.
- Participate in NEPI, REMT, and PEMT coordination meetings.
- Attend coordination meetings at central and provincial levels.
- Coordinate activities of master trainers and other project team members engaged in trainings.
- Assign instructors/trainers to conduct training.
- Create and manage training schedules based on availability of classrooms, equipment, and trainers.
- Maintain updated NEPI training packages and records.
2. Training Delivery & Quality Assurance:
- Ensure trainers use known EPI training principles and stay updated with training methods.
- Present training programs using recognized techniques and tools.
- Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.
- Track and report on training outcomes.
- Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after sessions.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements in training material and methodology.
- Supervise classroom and clinical practical sites regularly.
- Conduct joint supervisions with WHO and REMT/PEMT when needed.
3. Monitoring & Reporting:
- Follow a developed action plan and provide early notice in case of deviations.
- Assess and evaluate that training activities align with plans and regulations.
- Provide feedback to participants and management.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and final project reports.
4. Stakeholder & Logistics Management:
- Partner with the management team and WHO regarding training progress.
- Maintain good cooperative relations with all departments.
- Handle logistics for training activities (venues, equipment)
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager
Job Requirements:
- Work Experience:
- Graduated from recognized medical university as MD
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in public health training or capacity building.
- Key Competencies
- Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
- Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor
- Language & Communication
- Proficient in Pashto, Dari, and English (written and spoken).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Skills & Competencies
- Demonstrated skills in health management.
- Strong supervisory, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to support colleagues and provide/receive constructive feedback.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional principles.
- Familiarity with instructional design and training methodologies.
- Understanding of learning management systems and competency assessment tools.
- Skilled in planning, organization, communication, presentation, facilitation, and coaching.
