Job Description:
- Teaching & Instruction Responsibilities
- Provide classroom and practical instructions for the trainees.
- Determine teaching methodologies and strategies.
- Prepare training materials such as homework assignments and handouts.
- Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
- Supervise and support others involved in teaching/learning.
- Ensure the standardized EPI curriculum is implemented.
- Training Preparation & Environment
- Prepare the classroom, teaching aids, and arrange the learning environment.
- Ensure availability and standards of appropriate classroom facilities and simulated practice sessions.
- Ensure all training program properties, resources, and equipment are maintained in good working order.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and secure working environment, minimizing health and safety risks.
3. Trainee Support & Monitoring

- Support trainees throughout the program and provide counselling on training-related issues.
- Monitor attendance and maintain accurate records.
- Notify the training coordinator of concerns regarding trainees' learning or abilities.
4. Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with clinical and training staff to coordinate theoretical and practical aspects.
- Arrange and conduct regular trainers’ meetings.
- Participate in meetings, report writing, and information dissemination as needed.
5. Administrative & Documentation
- Maintain personnel files for all trainees, including theoretical and clinical assessment records.
- Assist with maintaining all trainee documentation.
- Schedule classroom, practice, and supervised sessions per the program calendar.
- Utilize training standards for performance and quality improvement.
6. Program Quality & Development
- Identify trainees' needs and support their professional development.
- Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of training program activities.
- Ensure required learning resources are accessible to trainees.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Training Coordinator.
Job Requirements:
Educational Requirements
- Graduated from a recognized university as MD doctor, or Nurse, Midwife.
- Professional Experience
- Minimum of three years’ work experience, particularly in the field of EPI (Expanded Program on Immunization) training.
Technical & Training Skills
- Knowledge of adult instructional and learning theory and principles.
- Familiarity with instructional design and training methodologies.
- Experience with learning management systems and competency assessment tools.
Management & Organizational Skills
- Demonstrated skills in health management.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills.
Language & Communication Skills
- Proficiency in Pashto, Dari, and English (both written and spoken).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to support trainees and provide/receive constructive feedback
