HealthNet TPO is a Netherlands based not for profit, non-governmental organization founded on the principle that access to affordable quality health care is a basic human right.

In 1992 HealthNet TPO was established by ‘Doctors without Borders’ to bridge the gap between emergency aid and structural development. The organization is now the result of a merger between HealthNet International (HNI) and the Transcultural Psychosocial Organization (TPO). HNI has knowledge and experience in reinforcing healthcare systems and prevention, diagnosis and treatment of transmissible diseases. TPO is an expert in the field of psychosocial and mental health care for survivors of war and natural disasters.  HealthNet TPO Afghanistan is managed by a team of qualified Afghans and supported by a team of experts at the HQ of the organization in Holland.

HealthNet TPO Afghanistan is providing Primary Health Care, Mental Health and psychosocial services, fighting malaria and supporting Mother & Child Health Care in terms of providing training for Community Midwifes and to conduct operation research. HealthNet TPO is currently implementing projects in almost 20 provinces of Afghanistan and the major program it implements are HER (Health Emergency Response) projects in three provinces, Nutrition, Mental Health and Psychosocial, Malaria Control program, Tuberculus....... through a community system strengthening approach.

HealthNet TPO has a zero tolerance toward sexual exploitation and abuse and child abuse. HNITPO takes seriously all concerns and complaints about sexual exploitation and abuse and child abuse involving HNITPO employees and Related Personnel.

• Accurately enter data from paper-based reporting forms into the database.
• Review data for errors, missing information, and inconsistencies; report issues to the M&E Officer for resolution.
• Ensure that the data entry in database completed before the deadline
• Maintain and update program records and files to ensure they are complete and organized.
• Assist in data cleaning and validation processes to improve data quality.
• Generate simple reports or summaries as requested by supervisors.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of program data and records.
• Assist in the preparation of data for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Support other administrative tasks related to data management as needed.
• Filing and appropriate storage of all data in hard copy form so that they may be examined at any time by project team and MoPH.
• Ensure that the updated HMIS format is available in health facilities and properly used by health facility staff
• Any other task assigned by supervisor if needed.

• Graduated from a recognized health institute especially from Eye Technician
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in data entry and management in the health-related program.
• Educated in the use of all standard Microsoft Office software essential.
• Experience in the use of MS Access, Excell databases essential.
• Fluency in Pashto/Dari with adequate knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Punctual, accurate and honest
