Job Description:
- Based on the request of the authorized person, attend and participate in all relevant meetings/training-related meetings for the program's purpose.
Support International Consultant in the revision of training guides developed by UNFPA and translate the content for delivering the training. This may include PowerPoint presentations, role play scripts, handout content, case studies, etc. - Support the international consultant in the roll-out of training based on the adapted Guideline on PFA/PSS and Case management.
- Co-facilitate and support UNFPA hired consultants to deliver training to UNFPA support Service delivery points front line staff of all IPs.
- Coordinate with UNFPA Implementing Partners in obtaining staff lists for the training and support to the HEWAD team for logistic arrangements.
- Maintain attendance sheets of the training participants.
- Provide all accompanying training documents to UNFPA and HEWAD.
- In collaboration with the international consultant contribute to developing adapted guidelines and tools for the Afghanistan context.
- Review training materials and documents and provide checklists and produce a preliminary report and matrixes. The report and matrixes will be reviewed by the international consultant.
- Any other duties assigned by the line supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Master/MD, and bachelor's degree with specialization in psychology, psychosocial implementation, clinical social work, mental health or related area.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive humanitarian experience; at least 2 of which should be working in Psychosocial support projects as training consultant/officer.
- Strong knowledge of Psychosocial support services (PSS) to vulnerable groups.
- Experience in conducting training or facilitating capacity-building training sessions.
- Experience in working with PSS Counselors is an advantage.
- Awareness and demonstrable knowledge of how PSS manifests in humanitarian settings and ability to describe context-specific prevention and response actions.
- Knowledge of training tools and methods and proven experience delivering training in humanitarian settings;
