About (WVO) Women's Voice Organization:

Women’s Voice Organization (WVO) is a non- governmental, non-partisan, non-political, non- profit, impartial, voluntary organization operating in Afghanistan and its environs. The Women’s Voice Organization (WVO) was established in June 2019 and is registered as a Non- Governmental Organization whose aims are to Alleviate Poverty, Promote Good Governance, peaceful and secure societies and Access to Public Education.

The formation of WVO was informed by the need to improve the risk awareness, peace building conflict resolution and prevention of violent extremist and other challenges of socio-economic conditions of the disadvantaged communities members with particular emphasis on youth and villages residents to alleviate the suffering which was on its peak at that time as a result of frequent insecurity shocks and natural disasters and lack of awareness. The NGO also sought to accelerate development of the rural urban poor areas, reduce poverty, morbidity and mortality rates of women and children

Job Description:

The M&E officer will develop and implementing the M&E plan and to generate regular information related to the progress of the project and provide technical support to project staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement the M&E system in the project of Emergency, Agriculture, Health by developing and implementing M&E plan to generate regular information related to the progress of the project and provide technical support to project staff on implementing the M&E plan, logical framework, and result-based matrix.
  • Collect case stories, documentation of best practices, and lessons learned; update and analytically synchronize the information in project reports.
     
  • Conduct regular monitoring of the project's interventions to ensure the quality delivery of inputs and contribute to generating expected results.
    Responsible for the preparation of progress reports with the close support of the Project Manager.
     
  • Provide feedback to the Project Manager based on founded issues of the project activities.
     
  • Monitor and evaluate overall progress and achievement results.
     
  • Develop monitoring and impact indicators for the project's success.
     
  • Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks.
     
  • Assist the Project Manager in the preparation of reports on the findings and lessons learned from project innovations;
     
  • The M&E Officer will be responsible for establishing KOBO Survey tools
     
  • The M&E Officer will help in designing survey tools for Post Distribution

Monitoring Survey and data collection.
 

  • The M&E Officer will also be responsible for management of feedback and complaints from community.
     
  • The M&E Officer duty station is Kabul Main office.
     

Perform any other duties delegated by the supervisor/senior staff.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation Studies, Management Information Systems, Business Administration. 
     
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in designing, implementing, and overseeing M&E-related tasks. 
     
  • Having good comprehension and learning attitude in the mental health and psychosocial field, preferably in community-based mental health issues.
     
  • Strong statistical skills including knowledge of Microsoft Package.
     
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a multi-sectoral approach and establish harmonious and effective working relationships both within and outside the organization.
     
  • Be able to communicate both in writing and verbally in English and local languages.
     
  • Should have good skill of report writing
     
  • Be able to travel and live in the project area.
