Job Description:
- Mobilize women entrepreneurs for business management training
- Provide asset support to women entrepreneurs in terms of machines, equipment and items
- Develop training modules based on the identified needs.
- Conduct training
- Build existing and develop new business relationships.
- Business coaching on financial planning
- Peer-to-peer learning program
- Monthly mentorship meetings
- On-the-job training on saving and loan practices
- Encourage engagement in community-led initiatives and social projects.
- Link VSLAs with relevant stakeholders (government programs, NGOs, UN agencies) for further support.
- Assess women entrepreneurs’ learning progress using assessment tools at the beginning of the sessions' implementation.
- Maintain discipline while motivating women entrepreneurs and facilitating their development to meet agreed targets.
- Identify women entrepreneurs requiring financial literacy training
- Develop regular reports from the financial and business literacy and numeracy activities.
- Maintain a safe and effective teaching/learning environment during the sessions.
- Drive sales activities through business development efforts with companies or individuals.
- Provide support to sales teams and individuals by preparing reports and presentations.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as requested.
- Identify opportunities, research their requirements, conduct primary research, present proposals, negotiate, and close deals.
- Enhance communication with BNFs through proper communication channels.
- Ensuring that the organization meets targets.
- Developing case/success stories
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the project manager
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in business development.
- Microsoft office package skills (word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Community coordination skills.
- SMSE knowledge.
- Ability to negotiate and collaborate with others positively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Great time management.
- Report writing.
- Solid experience in conducting training.
