Job Description:
- Establishing and continues improvement on a consistent operation framework for the identification, management, monitoring and reporting of compliance risks and issues related to KYC / AML / CFT.
- Advising the board of directors. Board of management and bank personnel of emerging compliance issue and guiding the bank in the establishment of controls to mitigate risks.
- Ensuring Department’s activities are run smoothly and efficiently by providing leadership, training and supervision. to perform direct supervisory duties of assigned department stuff , coordinating stuff for coverage in assigned areas of the department , and is required to be fully knowledgeable and skilled in all areas of the department .
- Participating in various committee, audit and examinations. Coordination internal compliance review and monitoring activates, including periodic reviews of department.
- Ensuring Compliance of the guidelines / directives of the law and policies and procedures of government and regulatory bodies and periodically revising the program / policies in light of changes in the needs of the organization, and the government / regulator’s guidelines and the law of the land.
- Developing , coordination , and participating in a multifaceted educational and training program that focuses on the element of the compliance program , and seeks to ensure that all appropriate employees and management are knowledgeable of , and , applicable national & international standards .
- Responding to FIU / Regulator’s investigations and queries as the principle point of contact. Independently investigating and acting on matters related to compliance, including the flexibility to design and coordinate internal investigation.
- Developing an appropriate compliance communication strategy and facilitate the implementation across bank .
- Liaise with risk management and internal audit on risk related issue as well as non-compliance with internal policies, legislation , roles and regulation .
Compliance of central bank’s Regulation:
- Ensure the compliance of the regulation of the central bank with particular regard to KYC / AML / CTF Issue and other guidelines in general.
- Monitoring STRs & LCTRs and ensuring proper reporting to the regulators.
- Compliance and Submission of various return and report to the central bank as per the regulation.
