Job Description:
This job is for a pediatrician in a pediatric OPD clinic at the Herat Women’s Prison. Preference will be given to applicants with previous NGO and prison work experience.
Job Requirements:
- Responsible for treating pediatric patients in the OPD clinic.
- Responsible for completing and updating a registration file for each child.
- Responsible for prescribing appropriate medication to children.
- Responsible for making monthly “well-baby” checks of each child.
- Responsible for assisting with health classes as needed.
- Responsible for working with appropriate officials to refer children to hospitals and specialists when necessary.
- Responsible for writing reports in English and Dari.
